Blackhawk MK3.1

Building on the Nighthawk's philosophy, the Blackhawk adds Raven's premium custom capacitors and signal-path components — the result is a wider, deeper, more three-dimensional soundstage.

This sound is BEAUTIFUL and does indeed beat my $10,000 McIntosh MA-8000 when it comes to that sound. I have never heard any better up to $6500.

The Blackhawk

A wider, deeper soundstage — cost-no-object components.

The 20-watt-per-channel Blackhawk Integrated Stereo Tube Amplifier is Raven Audio's next step up from the Nighthawk. With the addition of Raven's cost-no-object capacitors and other upgraded internal components, the Blackhawk commands an even wider soundstage with more three-dimensionality.

Just like all Raven Audio tube amps, there is no roll-off in the high frequencies or haze which negatively affects high-end detail, and the bass is fast and tight. Twenty watts per channel may not sound like much power, but in terms of driving speakers it is equivalent to a high-quality one-hundred-watt-per-channel solid-state amplifier.

Raven Audio products are made in the U.S.A. and are built to military specifications. They last a lifetime. Quality is in our DNA.

American Made

Built in the U.S.A., to last a lifetime.

Every Blackhawk is hand-wired and assembled in America to military specifications — no offshore shortcuts, no disposable parts. It is built to be serviced, upgraded, and handed down rather than replaced.

Add a subwoofer without taxing the amp.

High-Pass Crossover

Add a subwoofer without taxing the amp.

A variable RCA subwoofer output with a built-in 6 dB/octave high-pass filter rolls the deepest bass off the main amplifier. That frees up the better part of its power to focus on the midrange and highs — exactly where tubes do their finest work.

Custom transformers, wound in America.

Proprietary Transformers

Custom transformers, wound in America.

The audio and power transformers are designed in-house and built to Raven's own spec — oversized, quiet, and made to run cool for decades. They are the foundation of the Blackhawk's effortless dynamics and dead-silent background.

Studio-Grade Connectors

Neutrik RCA inputs and heavy, machined speaker binding posts make every connection solid and repeatable — the same caliber of hardware you would find in a professional recording studio.
